Life Changes

August 15, 2018Elder Law, Estate Planning, LGBTQ Planning, Medicaid Planning, Probate, Retirement Planning, Special Needs Planning, Trust Administration & Probate

Life changes…Heraclitus said, “The only thing that is constant is CHANGE.” As our children create new chapters in their lives and we begin new phases of ours, we look upon these milestones years later and remember life’s changes.  As Christina’s children, Ethan and Ella, get ready to go to new schools, Windy’s child, Abigail, embarks on a new journey as she faces school for the first time.  Life is constant change.

We will all face changes and transitions as we travel through life: going to school for the first time, entering high school, beginning college, starting a new career, and even moving into retirement or needing elder care.  While we can never be truly prepared, a little planning can go a long way.

Questions for Your Life Changes:

Do you have a guardian set up to take care of your minor children should anything happen to you? Do you know who will take care of your affairs when you are in the hospital?  What if you and your spouse are both incapacitated?…Are you prepared?  How can you protect your children’s inheritance in a second marriage? How will nursing home costs affect you?…Are you prepared?

Answer:

Christina Cochran is an experienced Estate Planning attorney who can help you plan ahead to create a proper estate plan for the possibilities and changes of life. Call our office at (502) 423-7023 to make an appointment with Christina to discuss your needs.

Life Changes for Ethan, Ella & Abigail

I have been a client of Cochran Gersh Law Offices since 2005. I can’t say enough good things about them. Absolutely first rate! Thanks to the team, my estate and trusts are set up and my family won’t have to deal with an unorganized mess when I am gone.
