Attorney

Elder law and estate planning addresses some of the most uniquely personal and critically important issues we face today as a society.

How do we care for those we hold most dearly at the end of life?

My clients trust me with the details of their family relationships, their sensitive financial information, and their future goals and aspirations. I am honored by the trust they place in me and am fully committed to serving their legal needs.   I tackle my client’s legal issues with a passion for efficiency, results and creativity.

I have been with Cochrangersh Law Offices since 2013 and prior to joining Cochrangersh Law Offices, I served as In-House Counsel to National Independent Trust Company, a federally registered trust bank chartered under the US Office of the Comptroller of Currency.  I completed my Juris Doctorate (University of Louisville) in 1999.

My approach to Elder Law and Estate Planning is also informed by my personal experience caring for aging family members.  I know from personal experience the difficult decisions and trying circumstances my client’s face.  I am constantly building a network of referral sources to help my client’s manage the personal and financial challenges that arise when addressing long term care and estate planning decisions.

I am a proud member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, KBA Elder Law Section, and KBA Trust and Probate Section. My two children and I share our home with one rambunctious Boxer and two slightly disgruntled cats.  I love participating and supporting my children’s schools. I am a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, the Jeffersontown Chamber, and Contemplative Outreach of Kentucky.

Ashley Mull

Ashley Mull

Staff

Ashley is from southern Indiana. She attended Hanover College where she graduated in 2021, Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History. She is currently a Juris Doctorate Candidate at The University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law, where she will be graduating in 2024.

While at Hanover College, Ashley interned with a Family and Criminal Law attorney. Even though she loved the client interaction aspect of the position and the legal field, she felt that might not be the legal field of law she wanted to settle in.  She joined the team at Cochran Gersh Law Office in 2022, where is now our legal assistant and has been immersed into the Estate Planning side of law.  After that, she knew that Estate Planning was the legal field she wanted to be in.

Windy Clark

Windy Clark

Paralegal

Windy is originally from St. Louis. After graduating from the University of Missouri St. Louis with a degree in Secondary Education, she worked four years as a high school teacher and helped with the school newspaper. After that she decided to take life in a slightly different direction. She began working for a tutoring center where she spent another four years. It was there she discovered her true life’s passion—serving others.

Windy soon decided to move to Louisville to be closer to her family. In 2011 she joined the team at Cochrangersh Law Offices, where she is now our paralegal & office manager. She is married with two daughters and a son, and loves to sing at her local church and other choirs around town.
